Menomonie Market Food Co-op has been developing its vision for a ‘greener’ Menomonie for thirty-five years. Join General Manager Crystal Halvorson for an overview of how the food co-op strengthens our area’s economy, creates social connections, and takes steps to reduce our footprint on the earth. Learn about the co-op’s vision to nurture the community, and see a FANTASTIC slideshow of the many local farmers and producers that have partnered with the co-op to make wholesome food available in Menomonie. Crystal has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the UW-Madison School of Agriculture, and has been dedicated to the success of Menomonie Market since 2004. She will be available after the presentation to answer questions about the co-op and the vibrant farm community around us.
